Is it all right for non-human characters to be dead? To be killed brutally, dismembered, decapitated?

Just because he/ she is a zombie, undead, robot, some sort of vegetable/ animals?
[the fact that I refer them as “he/she”, actually I’ve already humanize them]

I’m asking for the equal rights for all alien out there
truth to be told, just encounter this “issue” and find it interesting,

coz at some place a case where arm or feet get dismembered doesn’t considered as quite, em… what to say? a cruel things?

I’m just hope that all cute android, zombie, undead, alien  girl, out there can live happily every day
